Charmain Ford, the founder of Bangkok Cosmetic Care, had traveled to Thailand numerous times and had several acquaintances who successfully underwent cosmetic procedures in Bangkok. Through these experiences, she saw firsthand the world-class medical facilities, skilled surgeons, and affordability that Thailand offers compared to Canada and the USA.

The idea for the business emerged when Charmain met one of the owners of a top-tier aesthetic clinic in Bangkok through a mutual acquaintance. During their conversation, the clinic owner expressed a desire to expand and attract more international clients. Recognizing an opportunity, Charmain, who has experience in business development, saw this as the perfect chance to launch an online business venture while helping connect North American patients with top-rated clinics in Thailand.

Determined to simplify and streamline the medical tourism experience, Bangkok Cosmetic Care was launched as a full-service medical tourism agency, partnering with leading clinics such as BeautUp Thonglor Clinic to ensure transparency, safety, and convenience for international patients.
